Guests who have mobility disabilities may request bed frame removal to lower the surface of the bed. If a guest with a mobility disability does not provide forty-eight (48) hours’ advanced notice for bed frame removal accommodation, then the guest’s request for bed frame removal shall be accommodated within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of request by hotel management. If the forty-eight (48) hour period falls on a holiday or weekend, hotel staff will accommodate the request within seventy-two (72) hours.

Pets are always welcome at Extended Stay America. A maximum of two pets are allowed in each suite. A $25 (+ tax) per day, per pet non-refundable cleaning fee for the first six (6) nights. Each day thereafter is a $10 non-refundable fee (+tax) per day, per pet. This fee includes visiting pets. This fee is to cover the cost of cleaning and fumigating the guest room. The first seven (7) nights are payable the first night of your stay and is charged at check-in. Service animals will be exempt from this charge. Height and length restrictions apply: pets can be no longer than 36 inches and no taller than 36 inches. Undeclared pets will be charged $200 in addition to the applicable pet fees. Larger animals or more than two pets requires property manager’s approval. Please contact the property for questions. Pet fee is subject to change.

Advance Purchase (AP) reservations are not cancellable except within 24 hours of the original booking. Cancelling your AP reservation more than 24 hours after the original time of booking, or failing to check-in on the date of arrival in your reservation, will forfeit the full amount (including tax) of your nonrefundable advance prepayment. Cancelling your Extended Plus Program (EPP) reservation more than 24 hours after the original time of booking, or failing to check-in on the arrival date in your EPP reservation, will forfeit the nonrefundable deposit equal to three nights’ room rate and tax. Reservations other than AP or EPP reservations may be cancelled by 6 pm local hotel time on the arrival date in your reservation. If you cancel such a reservation after 6 p.m. local time on the arrival date in your reservation, or fail to check in on that date, the first night’s stay (at quoted rate plus tax) will be charged as a No Show Fee to the credit card holding the reservation. Similar rules may apply to certain other special rates. Reservations are based on availability.

To cancel a reservation, please find the reservation you want to cancel by going to "My Stays" on your Extended Perks account page or by clicking here to find your reservation. Once you find the reservation you want to cancel, select "Cancel" and then "Yes" to confirm your cancellation. To cancel an AP or EPP reservation, please call the hotel directly.
Travel Agent Commission 10% commission is paid for up to the first seven (7) nights only. Commission is paid within 30 days of the date of room consumption. Contact the General Manager at the property for commission issues.

Refresh Service: You may purchase a Refresh Service for $5 per service. Refresh service includes: replacing soiled towels, emptying trash, making bed with existing linens, and replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed.

My husband and I are repeat guests at the Extended Stay America Select Suites-South Akron location over the past 5yrs. We are currently in between homes and moving to Missouri at the end of October 2024. When our previous lease ended a month ago we decided it would be difficult to find a 7 month lease rental and staying in a hotel would be our best option. I researched hotels in the Akron/Canton area and Extended Stay America Select Suites was hands down the best choice for a long-term stay. Booking is easily done by calling location directly or creating a member account online.The rates are reasonable and affordable. In fact, they have the best weekly rates in the Akron/Canton area. I have read multiple reviews over the years and they generally consist of likes or dislikes with the rooms, amenities, and restaurant if available. Therefore, I would like to start my review by acknowledging the best hotel manager I have ever met Christian at the South Akron location. Christian is clearly dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction. He has always provided us with exceptional customer! He's always incredibly welcoming and attentive. He has the ability to go above and beyond in meeting guest needs, resolving issues, and providing a positive experience. He has promptly addressed the minimal concerns we have had. We really appreciate staff members that go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I will now give my review of the rest of the hotel and experience. The Extended Stay America Select Suites is a good hotel with economical rates. Check-In was smooth and hassle free, thanks to friendly and efficient staff. First class service was provided from start to finish. I feel like it is worth mentioning that you can not gain access into the hotel from any door without possessing a guest key card except for the front foyer area where check-in is but you still can not gain access to the Suites from this area without key. Management at this location takes guest privacy and safety very serious. Extended Stay America Select Suites is the perfect location! It is conveniently situated near many restaurants, stores, and highway access. Within a 3 mile radius there is many fast food, sports bar, and family oriented restaurants with a variety of different cuisines to choose from. Within a 3 mile radius there is Target, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Staples, Sally Beauty, Rue 21, Kohl's, and several more. The Suites are spacious and equipped with full-size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and plenty of kitchen cabinet storage, which makes the suite feel like a true home away from home. The hotel also has an on-site laundry facilities with 5 washers and 6 dryers which makes laundry day a little less stressful. Also, we appreciate that you must use your suite key to gain entrance into the laundry facility as well. This hotel has all the amenities we really needed for a 7 month extended stay. The quality of service and the amenities justified the cost. Actually, it's a great value for price paid exceeeding our expectations. The only complaint I have is the stairwells on both ends of the building have a horrible odor some days. Overall, we've had a great experience, felt welcomed, and would definitely recommend the Extended Stay America Select Suites-South Akron to others!

Christian, the a general manager and also works first shift but you'll always see him working over if you have any questions or concerns or would like to know any other helpful info he is the man to go to he explains everything in detail to you to make you understand he make sure you get the lowest rates and we'll even explain to you how you can save overtime when booking a long trip and stay with them that is also what makes this hotel so great the longer you stay the lower your price is not to mention the rooms are nice recap hardwood and Floors kitchenette with a full size fridge the cable has a variety of channels to choose from everything for your children to sports to your chick flicks laundry is on site and they even accept those with pets and let's not forget the security! Someone must let you in if you do not have a key card.. Christian treats me with respect, and knowing I'm safe is what keeps me coming back

I had a really great experience staying with extended stay America. The manager, Christian is always accommodating and welcoming and makes sure that every little thing goes as smoothly as possible. Will definitely re-visit.
